Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord’s Prayer are not allowed in most public schools anymore because the word ‘God’ is mentioned, a Kid in Arizona wrote the following:

New School Prayer

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God’s name is prohibited by the state.

We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks..
They’ve outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the ‘unwed daddy,’ our Senior King.
It’s ‘inappropriate’ to teach right from wrong,
We’re taught that such ‘judgments’ do not belong..

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It’s scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

A special message from:

The Media Research Center reports that in two years of Christmas coverage on three TV networks, only 1.3% of Christmas stories mentioned Jesus.

Atheists, politically-correct Liberals and the mainstream network media believe:

Christmas is a MYTH… December 25th is just a WINTER holiday

Jesus has no place in Christmas… Red and Green, the colors of Christmas, are OFFENSIVE!

They want to remove Christmas from our society as part of their ongoing efforts to deny Christianity! CBS News used more words INA SINGLE STORY to talk about the possible addition of table tennis to the 2012 Olympic Games, than ABC, CBS or NBC used in 2 years and 19 stories on Christmas mentioning “God,” “Jesus,” or “Christ.”

What is YOUR opinion?

Complete Standpac’s CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK Survey and let American leaders know you are proud to celebrate the miracle of Christmas! Tell them
to stop discriminating against your faith!

As we begin this blessed time of year when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, forces are working to suppress Christmas. Can I count on your
help to keep Christ in His birthday?

When was the last time you heard someone object to a menorah, or to a Ramadan celebration? I bet you’ve never heard of anyone objecting to these
things. But Jesus, the Cross, Christmas trees, Christmas carols, the colors of Christmas and even the name “Christmas” have prompted all kinds of
hysteria from those who feel Christians should keep their religion under wraps—even at this most blessed time of year.

Under the protection of religious freedom in America, we have every right to rejoice during the Christmas season. But Liberals and atheists are offended; and their voices are loud!

Take Standpac’s CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK Survey right now and shut down the voices of non-believers and the politically-correct forces that want
you to hide your faith! You and your family are guaranteed religious freedom here in America—so let your voice be heard!

SOME OF THE GREATEST OFFENSES HAVE OCCURRED AT PUBLIC SCHOOLS, because children are easily influenced and the government has a large amount of control over these schools:

Plano, TX—Plano ISD banned students from wearing red and green colors during “winter break” parties because red and green are Christmas colors and could offend some students!
South Orange and Maplewood, NJ—The school districts banned carols, including those that mentioned Santa Claus. Even though a parent sued, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case opposing the ban.
New York, NY—City schools have banned nativity scenes because they say the birth of Jesus is not a historical fact.
Glendale, WI—A school district says Christmas carols can’t be sung because “music programs close to religious holidays should not use the religious aspect of these holidays as the underlying motive or theme.” Hanukkah songs are “more cultural,” however, and are perfectly fine.

If you disagree with the way the government is shutting Christmas out of schools, complete Standpac’s CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK Survey and tell
President Obama and Congress to butt out of your religion!

Rasmussen Reports that THREE OUT OF FOUR Americans prefer to be greeted with Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays.

But as far as Obama and his Liberal cohorts are concerned, America’s historic faith should be replaced with a secular system of moral relativism. And you, as a Christian, should shut up.

There is an ongoing effort by atheists, aided by the Left, to denigrate Christianity and remove references to God not just from Christmas, but also from America’s Founding Principles.

Last year Barack Obama gave a speech in Turkey and said “America is not a Christian nation”.

Then he gave a speech at Georgetown University and the White House covered up the monogram of Jesus in the background.

And then during a two-month period, Obama gave a series of speeches referencing the Declaration of Independence and omitted the word “Creator” from those speeches AT LEAST 7 TIMES.

The attack on the Christian faith and the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ stops NOW. Standpac is standing firm for Christians across America.

Take Standpac’s CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK Survey right now and shut down the voices of non-believers and the politically-correct forces that want
you to hide your faith! You and your family are guaranteed religious freedom here in America—so let your voice be heard!

83% of Americans say they are Christian! Only 1.6% say they are Atheist.

If all of us speak up and demand they leave Christmas alone, our elected officials will have no choice but to listen.

They are taking Jesus out of nativity scenes! They are removing religious references from carols! They are refusing to use the word “Christmas” in advertising, villages or in reference to Christmas trees!

But those same individuals who deny Christians their religious freedom wouldn’t dare show hostility toward another religion. They wouldn’t defame or deny Jewish or Muslim holy days, yet Christmas is denigrated and marginalized.

Religious freedom is the basis on which this country was built, but government has turned against Christianity.

While other religions are free to celebrate and promote their beliefs, Christians are told they must hide in the shadows in order not to offend anyone.

I’m tired of this! Are you?

It will only take a few minutes to fill out Standpac’s CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK Survey and let your elected officials know you will not let them
trample on your right to celebrate Christmas.

The small number of people who don’t believe in God have controlled the dialogue in this country. How long are we going to allow them to drown out our beliefs? Will we let them go on until they eliminate Christmas celebrations entirely?

The Left wants to remove religion not just from government, but from society—because removing religion is a pathway to socialism.

This has happened before in history. The Nazis banned Christian references and symbols from the classroom, and tried to remove Christianity from public life. They also tried to merge Christmas into a celebration of winter and light, instead of acknowledging the sacred religious celebration that it is.

Don’t these efforts sound familiar?

We shouldn’t be censoring Jesus Christ and pretending He doesn’t have any place in America, when the fact is the United States of America was built on His Word!

  • “It can not be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians, not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ!” (Patrick Henry)
  • “Those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.” (Abraham Lincoln)
  • “The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity.” (John Adams)
  • “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.” (George

If you believe this country was founded on biblical principles with rights given to us by our Creator, complete Standpac’s CHRISTIANITY UNDER ATTACK Survey right now and end this government intrusion into your Christmas celebrations!

We will deliver the survey results to President Obama and Congress before Christmas, December 25th. And when they see what you have to say, it could have a significant effect on how our elected leaders treat Christianity in this country. Why?

Because 83% of Americans are Christians, and we are fed up with them marginalizing our religion, allowing us to be discriminated against while they promote other religions, and we are tired of them taking Christ out of Christmas.

And we vote.

The midterm elections put Washington on notice: the people are watching. Standpac will do everything in its power to remove leaders from office who do not hold Christianity as the foundation of this country, and who support efforts to remove Christ and Christmas from America.

This survey is your chance to drown out the atheist voices that want to pretend America is not a Christian nation. This survey is your chance to tell Congress how you really feel about the government trying to threaten your Christianity, especially at this blessed time of year.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

My request to you is that you fill out this survey and make a donation of $10, $20, $50 or even $100 to help Standpac defeat officials who want to hush Christian voices in America and eliminate Christmas celebrations. More powerful than our discontent is a strong financial footing so we can get rid of those in government who are denying Christianity its place in America. Your donation will help me get the survey results to President Obama and every member of Congress, so they will know exactly what you think of their religious suppression.

They are offended by Christianity—but we are OFFENDED BY THEM and we will kick them out of office!

Please fill out the survey and donation form NOW
to make sure your opinion is counted. Don’t save it for later, because this is a busy
time of year, and you may forget!
It will only take a moment to let President Obama and Congress know that Christ belongs in the Christmas season
and all the wonderful traditions that accompany this time of year.

Do you believe we should REMOVE elected officials from office who REMOVE Christ from America’s culture? If so, please STAND with me and help me kick these bums out. Please give your financial help to get these survey results to Obama and Congress, and give a little extra to help me kick the anti-Christian bums out of office!

Thank you for helping me continue my fight for Christianity across America as we work to protect the values of this great nation!

Dear Friend,

Last Thursday, our family lost a dear friend to suicide. He was my daughter’s boyfriend for over a year, and they loved each other greatly.

While I cannot do anything to help him, I am walking to raise funds that may be able to help prevent another horrible loss in the future. Even one life saved will be worth all the effort!

On this Sunday, November 7, 2010, I will be joining with thousands of people nationwide to walk in AFSP’s Alabama WalkOut of the Darkness Community Walk to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. I would appreciate any support that you give me for this worthwhile cause.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is at the forefront of research, education and prevention initiatives designed to reduce loss of life from suicide. With more than 33,000 lives lost each year in the U.S. and over one million worldwide, the importance of AFSP’s mission has never been greater, nor our work more urgent.

I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event. Any contribution will help the work of AFSP, and all donations are 100% tax deductible.

Donating online is safe and easy! To make an online donation please click the “Support This Participant” button on this page.

Before there was a forest, there was a tree. Before the tree, there was a seed. And, before the seed could grow, it needed the right climate and care to reach great heights.

If you are a parent,a volunteer, BSA staff member, or Scouting supporter, you have helped to sow a seed of greatness in every Scout whose life you have touched. How well you take care of a seed impacts how well it can grow. And after a century of planting character and in

tegrity into the hearts and minds of our country’s young people, more than 100 million Scouts have grown into some of the nation’s greatest leaders, advocates,

citizens, parents, and friends.

From the first Scout in 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has created a legacy. From one tree today, we can create a forest to witness the next 100 years of Scouting.

We invite you to help in the planting of 100,000 trees, creating a strong, living symbol of Scouting’s century of contributions.

Arbor Day Foundation
Boy Scouts of America. 100 years of scouting.

Through the Arbor Day Foundation, everyone can plant a Boy Scouts of America 100th Anniversary tree. For each tree that is ordered, the Arbor Day Foundation is donating a corresponding tree to build the Boy Scouts of America Centennial Forest in Montana. Or, you can have both trees planted in the BSA Centennial Forest.

Who will you plant your tree for?

“The Crimson Tide delivered a decisive victory over the number 1 ranked Gators just a few minutes ago, making Alabama the 2009 Southeastern Conference Champions. The reporters are still interviewing the players and coaches. The confetti has not settled to the ground, but already everyone is looking toward the National Championship game.

Alabama turned in a great performance, easily managing to score early and often. The Tide moved the ball pretty much whenever and wherever they chose to. Florida made several mistakes that could have made it a closer game, but they really just never got any substantial momentum going.

Although I enjoyed the game immensely, I have to admit being a little disappointed. I expected stronger competition from Florida. I am not one of these guys who keeps up with all of the stats and watches every team that plays every weekend, so I do not pretend to be at all qualified to comment on why Alabama was able to dominate Florida the way they did. I will leave that to the professional commentators and armchair quarterbacks. But after being ranked behind them for weeks, I really expected more of a battle on the field.

Being a lifelong Alabama Crimson Tide fan, I am proud of our players. They played a great game, and I am looking forward to the National Championship game.

Congratulations Alabama Crimson Tide Players!
2009 SEC Champions!
