| South Orange and Maplewood, NJ—The school districts banned carols, including those that mentioned Santa Claus. Even though a parent sued, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the case opposing the ban. |
| New York, NY—City schools have banned nativity scenes because they say the birth of Jesus is not a historical fact. |
| Glendale, WI—A school district says Christmas carols can’t be sung because “music programs close to religious holidays should not use the religious aspect of these holidays as the underlying motive or theme.” Hanukkah songs are “more cultural,” however, and are perfectly fine. |

But as far as Obama and his Liberal cohorts are concerned, America’s historic faith should be replaced with a secular system of moral relativism. And you, as a Christian, should shut up.
There is an ongoing effort by atheists, aided by the Left, to denigrate Christianity and remove references to God not just from Christmas, but also from America’s Founding Principles.
Last year Barack Obama gave a speech in Turkey and said “America is not a Christian nation”.
Then he gave a speech at Georgetown University and the White House covered up the monogram of Jesus in the background.
And then during a two-month period, Obama gave a series of speeches referencing the Declaration of Independence and omitted the word “Creator” from those speeches AT LEAST 7 TIMES.

If all of us speak up and demand they leave Christmas alone, our elected officials will have no choice but to listen.
They are taking Jesus out of nativity scenes! They are removing religious references from carols! They are refusing to use the word “Christmas” in advertising, villages or in reference to Christmas trees!
But those same individuals who deny Christians their religious freedom wouldn’t dare show hostility toward another religion. They wouldn’t defame or deny Jewish or Muslim holy days, yet Christmas is denigrated and marginalized.
Religious freedom is the basis on which this country was built, but government has turned against Christianity.
While other religions are free to celebrate and promote their beliefs, Christians are told they must hide in the shadows in order not to offend anyone.
